The charging takes 30 more minutes than the play time which is quite short if you ask me. The toy comes with a remote which works fine. I tried using the toy another time and it just broke. Unfortunately, I ended up having to throw it away. Sorry to go on a rant about a toy that didn't work well for me. If you read all of that seriously congratulations you are a real trooper.
